Yeah, he wrote his own OS, but it was pretty much in the alpha stage when TI made him stop, so he released it, and now he has permission to continue. (I envy you SE people. He's letting you multitask without a shell when he finishes it. Immagine everything anyone has ever programmed, but without wasting any rom.) He is thinking about taking a class where he chooses a project, and does that for a grade, and choosing to program the os as the project. That way he will have time(a class period each day) and motivation (a grade). |

In that case:
Besides what I already said, I know:
QBASIC,
A very little bit of Pascal (could write a little text rpg but that's about it),
C++ (beginner to advanced, just need more experience),
HTML,
(some) JavaScript,
(some) CSS.
Currently learning:
Win32 games programming (I actually bought a book for this ).
Ti 83 ASM.
To do someday:
DirectDraw,
DirectX,
OpenGL.
To do soon:
PHP.

Jbirk wrote: Amazing, you have learned to crash a calculator using assembly.
I think I learned how to do that accidentally. Actually, I think my first asm program crashed.
My first crashed. so did my second, and my third, and my fourth, and my... well, let's just say they all crashed. Now that I think of it, did I put ret at the end? No I did not. That might have something to do with it. Maby now I'll know if they do what they are supposed to(since I won't delete it at the end), so I can learn. |
