Does anyone have any suggestions for a program for burning DVDs? I have the intention of burning movies (.avi and .divx files) Thanks.

For burning data to disk, I've found ImgBurn to be the most reliable and robust application (it's also small and free).

I can't recommend any free DVD authoring software, if you're aiming to create a video DVD for a standalone player that doesn't support whichever video formats you're using. CDBurnerXP Pro has a list of guides that might help you.
