I've tried several programs, and even websites that claimed they could download flash files off of a website. . . .THIS ONE to be percise but nothing works. I'm working on a school project well a dvd for school about future car that is airing on the discovery channel and I wanted to include the webisodes located on there website but I can't see to find a direct download link in the source as there is a mastercard ad that comes before the actual clip. I've tried the cache used for my browser but it didn't provide any help. If anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

The movie itself isn't a seperate flash object, it's played through a flash object which pretty much makes up the whole site. The link you have is as close as you're going to be able to link to it.

If you need it stored offline, screencap it.

If the video you plan to get is at YouTube or a similar site, then this will serve you well.

Thanks for the help. BTW does anyone know of any free programs that can compress an mpg file to make it smaller? I tried with Windows Movie Maker but problems with filters caused my video to flip upside down and disabling them wouldn't prevent my movie from being imported.

Thanks for the suggestion. I like that program a lot. Well when I finally found a mod that allowed the import of mpeg2 files. Smile
