I have looked and looked and cannot find an equation for solving 4 variables. I was hoping something that could be put on to a calc.

Dry By "solving 4 variables" do you mean solving an equation such as this?

Ax^3+Bx^2+CX+D=E?

If so, I believe the application Conics has a similar feature that allows you to solve to any degree.

[EDIT]
I gave you the wrong code, I can't seem to find the other one at the moment...

If by four variables you mean w,x,y, and z and you having 4 equations this can be done using a matrix. Create a matrix that looks like this.
[[w x y z ans]
[w x y z ans]
[w x y z ans]
[w x y z ans]]
where each letter is the coefficient in front of the variable.
Then do rref([A] and you will get something like
[[w 0 0 0 0]
[ 0 x 0 0 0]
[ 0 0 y 0 0]
[ 0 0 0 z 0]
where each letter is the amount of the corresponding variable.

Except that the output will be more like
[1 0 0 0 w]
[0 1 0 0 x]
[0 0 1 0 y]
[0 0 0 1 z]
