my friend somehow conviced his parents to buy him a ti83+ silver instead of the the normal ti83+ after I told him he should get that instead because of added memory. so anyway he showed up with his brand new calculator at school today and he already had a problem 
he can't get it to start.
I worked on it in math (last period) and didn't have enough time to figure it out.
so he had me take it home to work on it. I get 5 bucks if i fix it by tommorow!!! |

| lol hadn't been thirty seconds since i posted this and I figured it out. Something is messed up with his on button. all you have to do is push it a whole lot harder than you usually would. all the other keys work fine though. very strange but atleast i get 5 bucks now! |
