"We are sorry but at the moment, TI Connect X is not supported on the Apple Intel platform. For additional questions or comments on this, please call 1-800-TI-CARES or e-mail ti-cares@ti.com."

Aparently TI Connect isn't available for Intel Based Macs. What should I use instead to send files to and from my calc? Assume I am a beginer when it comes to mac's (I just got it very recently and it's the first time I've ever used one). I have done alot of research and feel really stupid right now... don't point me to google please, I have used it.

Please don't argue over whether Windows/Mac/Linix or I should have gotten them instead here.

Apparently TiLP works with Macs. I haven't used it, but I've heard that I should.

Funny you should bring this up - I just tried to install TiLP on a Linux box and ran into dependency hell (it's not recognizing my GTK library and has plenty of other dependencies), so I've been makeing everything under the sun to try to get it to work.*

Theoretically you should be able to install it, since Macs run on unix anway. In practice, I hope you have more luck than I did!

*EDIT: Looks like I need glibc 2.4, which Ubuntu won't have until Edgy Eft. Luckily Edgy is coming out within the week, I think.

TiLP won't work on my PPC Mac (OS X 10.4). Someone on the mailing list for ticalc.org Assembly-83 told me that he had heard that TiLP was not compatible with 10.4. I forget what happened when I tried an install... I will have to get back to you.
