I can't host tonight, but someone else can. I've put it on the TI Calendar aribtraily for the first friday of every month, if majority of people want it changed, find something all can agree on and i'll move it. We aren't limited to just once a month, but I feel having a set date may help increase the turnout.

Installing from the .deb file now, but I won't be able to get on for a while. Maybe in the interim I'll get proper speakers and/or a microphone.

CPU resources doesn't really matter, as the skype servers do all the hard work of mixing the feeds. Your computer just needs to be able to handle one copy of skype open and your connection needs to be stable (if you disconnect, everyone else gets dropped).
