I recently analyzed the scout law we say at meetings, and found that the following things in parentheses should be added.

A scout is
Trustworthy (sometimes)
Loyal (to friends)
Helpful (if paid sufficiently)
Friendly (except to enemies)
Courteous (except to morons)
Kind (...of evil)
Obedient (under threat of force)
Cheerful (when happy)
Thrifty (when convenient)
Brave (...er than a rock(and stupider!))
Clean (...er than dirt)
Reverent (except on days ending with "y")

haha, personally, I always hated the last one, reverent. I'm out in the middle of nowhere, starving, and the food is finally done. But I can't eat it, we have to wait for everyone to get ready and say grace. When we ask why, it's always "a scout is reverent."

Anyway, I'm only in it

A. cause camping's cool
B. being an eagle scout helps people get colledge acceptance and jobs and stuff

i just got my life about 6 mo. ago, and have 4 years to get my eagle Cool

i think that the modfied scout law is how i actually do end up living, but not how i really want to live. Neutral

The life should reflect the official law, but since that'll never happen, I decided to edit the law, so that the life would always reflect the law.

Not necessarily darth. THe only one I see that does not a) involve a subjective opinion, and Cool does not have an open ended way of looking at it (ex:obedient(under threat of force), does not say anything about how obedient we are when not under threat of force) is the reverent one. Although I suppose we could be "very reverant on days ending with Y" instead of just plain reverant.
