Maybe. I know nobody wants the travel expenses behind these ideas, but maybe we could throw a bunch of local parties. TiFrapper showed a lot of ti progers clustered more or less.
If not that, then maybe a competition or a software release. Something to say "Hey! We're here to have fun!" In 7th grade, we got the whole school to drop their books at exactly 11am. It was actually funnier than it sounds. Something looney like that.

Perhaps we could ask all of the people currently working on projects to not release them until the 100,000th post is hit. I'm working on TS89, and I wouldn't mind waiting to release it. More time for bugfixes.  |
