We need a saying so that the rest of the TI community knows who we are. So we stand out. How about these:

"UTI, united is our name, coding is our game."

"UTI, that's who we are."

"UTI, got questions?"

"UTI, got code?"

How do you all like these? Can yall come up with some?

EDIT: Can this be moved to Community News?

EDIT2: I think these logos will help bring the TI community together a little bit. At least UTI's community. Here are one more:

"UTI, who do you think you are?" (eh. it's a lil mean, no?)

I also think that if we do get a saying, we have to post it in our sig. Anyone have some ideas?

The logo idea didn't end up going over too well previously,
but you may have something there with creating a slogan.

"UTI: Unary, Attractive, and Effective!"

What?! Those are all good things! :o

Okay, these are all nice. And Goose, I've seen the logos you all made. I like your program that draws it with a spark. Very Happy Anyways, is there a way I can change the name of the topic to slogan instead of logo? I forgot what they were called last night and Goose reminded me. Smile
Later we can have a poll for the best slogan.

"United-TI, work together, code together."

I agree. I was merely joking with the last one, but I remember trying once to convince a group partner that Reloj: We Keep the Time for You! wasn't a very good one (even when translated into Spanish). Of course, I was stuck with using it in the end. How she was proud of it, I don't know. Point made? Smile

I realize this topic is almost a year old, but I think I came up with a good slogan: "U+I=UTI". If that isn't ingenious, I don't know what is Very Happy What do you guys think?

EDIT: I forgot to ask if you guys even want a UTI slogan anymore. From what I read in the previous posts, I can't really tell one way or the other. I guess it's up to the admins to make that decision.

I'd never even heard of UBS before that video  So, you're trying to say we'd be copying them if our slogan was U+I=UTI? I think there's enough difference so that wouldn't be an issue. Besides, it's not like United-TI is a for-profit company or organization.

My point is that it may be genius, but it's reinventing the wheel.

I'm not for having a logo, but I'm also not against it if the majority agrees on one.

I personally love our current D logo. Simple, elegant, original. A catchy slogan would be OK, but I also think we don't need one.
