That's good. You weren't here for the last one, and I'm interested to see how well it turns out.

On the rules: You put some identifier in the readme or on the zip filename (must be zipped). Do not put any identifier in the program itself.

Okay. Got it. If you don't help run the contest, will you attempt at making the program, IAmACalculator?

I am helping run the contest this time, along with Braz. It's the same as before.

I would enter if it was a 68k basic contest, with rather a relatively simple topic. Wink

Hehe. Is the time limit going to be 2 and 1/2 hours or 2? I know last time, Brazucs let people go to 2 and a half.

It depends on how long people take, I guess. Obviously, the topic and the language are big factors. Last time we didn't allot enough time for the topic (a program where chain reactions play a large role). I will tell you that the ASM contest(s) will probably take more time than the BASIC contests.

That brings up another issue: Are we going to have the contests at the same time, consectively, or on seperate days?

I would have them one after another. I mean, some people want to enter two contests. If they are at the same time, they can't.

This'll be tomorrow (check the first post for the exact time).

Well, I was planning on running them both together to save time. The basic contest will be 2 hours long and the asm one will be 3.
I don't think many people will wanna code for 5 hours (plus I have somewhere to go at 7PM E D/S T).

If anyone wants to code in both, I'll leave the upload folder up and they'll have 2 more hours (which makes it 3 hours to code the asm). I've set it up so that the filename contains the time uploaded.

Remember—you are allowed to submit more than one entry.
EDIT: Hmm... The countdown on the contest page doesn't work so well...

Brazucs, your clock is beyond messed up. Example:

2:17:08

I refresh:

2:17:03

I refresh again:

2:18:51

The seconds go down, the minutes go up?!
