from the previous failure of getting wireless IE , Pop3 email, http, ftp, and telnet..
our team decided to make our plans simple.
bring aim.
of course it will be a major project if you members of the united ti help us out, and be a recognized part of the team.
if you're interested, my sn is xpchris09
hardware+software
is needed.
we need both technicians and programmers.
 |

what do you mean deliver?
as in the hardware?
well, if it really happens, and starts, we'll probably send one to each member of unitedti and sell a few kits and made's |

You're planning on finding out the home address, then producing a kit, and then actually paying the shipping to 500+ individuals? Methinks you need a reality check :P
Seriously, have you thought this out? First off, you'll need some form of wireless transmitter and reciever on the calc (otherwise, it'll have to be plugged into the computer, and what's the point of that? Just use gAIM!). Then you'll need a wireless device that plugs into the computer, which must be connected to the net. Boost, do you even know assembly?
Meh, maybe I'm just being a pessimist. |

Well... maybe he could just have anyone who wanted one to PM him, that way only active members who know why they're getting a mysterious package in the mail would get one. But yeah, I don't know how this'd work. Just wait for gCn, maybe? |

Well, I know I couldn't. I couldn't even port Wacky Fun Random Numbar Generator to ASM... But seriously, I don't know how it is going to work, and if it does, then all TI calculators must be banned from tests . |

Same here! I'm bad at data manipulation. |

[post="67122"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] Just a calculator, by itself, isn't going to connect to anywhere. You need some other hardware for this to work. |

true.
what im doing and thinking right now is connecting a usb wireless adapter, and perhaps create somehow an asm prog. to interpret data sending to and fro by the adapter..
seems impossible...
but i will do it.. x] |

Telnet is simpler than AIM... and yes, don't try for aim, create an IRC type thing. That will be easier to handle. For bits and pieces, ask Detached Solutions about the chatting option included in CalcSys. |
