Umm...im not very familiar with phpadmin. What would be the appropiate settings for a new database table? Its a little confusing... Surprised

That is all relative to what you want to store in it, from a data perspective.

I have experience with all these forms and I suggest you to take anything but Boyce-Codd with a grain of salt, and only really learn that form.

phpBB should set itself up...can you see the login screen? if not Ill help. had the same problem, but its working now

the PHPBB installer should be really easy.

You should simply unzip a package, upload some file (or extract them to the correct directory).

Run some installer, give it a database name, username and password.

Answer some questions, and it will setup the DB. I assume.

That's just what it does, you never need to create any database yourself. I outlined what I did to set up my forum in one of my posts in the other topic.
