Yeah, mainly CGI. I might be getting a 22" CRT from my school soon, either that or a 19" from my dad's work.

Isn't that dell monitor the 15" LCD?

Their 15 inch LCDs typically run nativley at 1024 X 768 and you just leave the hz alone becuse it doens't hurt anyones eyes.

Their 17" LCDs typically run at 1280 X 1024

19" Same

20" + 1600 X 1200

I would recomend getting an LCD monitor and not a CRT!

Go with at least 17" I would choose 19" or larger though.

Also, 1280 X 1024 is nice, but not fantastic on a 19" It is great on a 17 though.

I think a 19" should run 1600 X 1200 but the dells typically don't

Their 20" is awsome though.

I believe it's CRT, but yeah LCD is much better.

My favorite monitor size is 20" @ 1280*1024, anything bigger is just too big for my taste and would turn me to only using it for games/movies.

LCDs are for rich people! Unfortunately, I'm not rich. Smile
It's confirmed, my dad's bringing in a 22"er from his job and trading it for this crapper I have now. Should be here today! Hopefully My VDO card will support 1600x1200!

Not really, and did you just say "VDO" instead of "video" or "GFX"?

Since no one has ever used "VDO" for "video", not really.

Oh. I had forgotten that when 591 out of six billion people use an esoteric abbreviation, it can immediately be considered to be in popular usage.

It doesn't have to be popular... you understood it when I said VDO Card, didn't ya? So why are you even arguing about it?? It can be 6 people that have used it, who cares? I got my point across.
