I am working on a little gaem called Bomberman.Ita a addictive little game where u are able to blow up stuff. Im sure most of u have heared of it,but if u havent theres the describtion.
I have a engine where a little man goes across the maze(blocks)but he doesnt have any bombs to blow stuff up with...
How would i go about making the bombs be placed where the character is,and blow up within 3 seconds,also have the bomb detect if there is a block there that can or cant be blown up,if the bomberman is in the bombs range,and also if an enemy is in the bombs range???
hmmmm...
By the way this is my second day on this project,lol i thought i could get it done within 3 but....i ran into this little problem,please help,fast Very Happy just kidding,help if u can

Isn't there already a bomberman game? You could check out the source for that, or maybe just use it and add AI. Right now it's just two player.

There already is a bomberman game that has 4 levels and AI enemys that try to eat you, in fact this was the very first Ti83-ASM game I ever played. I think you might find it on ticalc.org but if you can't I'll ask a friend who does have a link cable if he can mail it to me and then I'll send it through if you like.

It was called "BOMB"

for the bomb blasts:
B=size of blast
X,Y=bomb location
C,D=bomberman's location
L=lives

X-B->E:X+B->F:Y-B->G:Y+B->H:If E(= or >)C(= or >)F or G(= or >)D(= or >)H:Then:[Output sprite for death]:L-1->L:Goto [Label for level title]

gosh, didn't you use BASIC once in your life? Confused
