You may or may not have seen Document DE 4 or lower (http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/255/25502.html), a BASIC word processor that I made. It occured to me that it could be much, much more powerful as an assembly program, so I have undertaken making it Doors CS compatible as an ASM program. So far I hae built the interface and graphics, associated program capabilities, and a rudimentary text display routine. I will soon add a more complete display routine and a text editing/insertion routine, and then take it from there. You can see screenshots at Cemetech.tk.

OK, now Bold and underline text works, and the typing routines are coming along. Neutral
I know exactly how I am going to do italic, but it'll take a while and I'm too lazy right now. Very Happy

Just a random question: How did you come up with the name "cemetech"?

Firstly, most people mispronounce it. It's [ke'me'tek'] not [sem'e'tek'].
I was wondering when someone would ask this:
1. Chemical engineering + technical engineering =Chemetech = awkward, so I chose Cemetech instead. I don't know why I put the 'C[h]eme-' part in, since I'm a programmer, but it sounded cool. Secondly. I hid my initals in the name, so that was another reason.

2. The logo: I like red, which implied progress, speed, aggression (i.e. innovation), so I made the logo red. The lightning bolt symbolizes electrical power, technologyy, and innovation.

Yeeha.

What does green symbolize and where could one find a nice document (online?) about such interesting things like marketing?

No idea about green...I just kinda came up with this stuff

Edit:
I'd guess natural, environmental-friendly, acceptance/wide variety (i.e. green light), etc.

Are you going to make DE spreadsheet assembly too? Because i haven't found a single free good assembly spreadsheet program.

second question: is the word processor going to be an App?

Thanks. I'm glad no one thinks the name is stupid. I have a website that goes with it, but I don't know if I should put it up yet... I may edit it a little bit.

Re: Spreadsheet. Probably; there's a basic version of Presentation DE, Spreadsheet DE, Document DE, and Draw DE. Eventually I will convert them all to ASM.

No, it won't be an App (for now at least).

You should combine all for of them plus DoorsCS and make an APP like MirageOS, only better.
