Each time you start a loop or if.then..else..end statement the calc memorises that it needs an end, so when you jump out it, that will stay in memory, causing memory errors when the memory is filled up with notes of ends to expect.

Was this also the cause behind that "program fatigue" effect where the prog gets slower and slower over a few minutes?

I believe I read that somewhere in an optimization guide. I don't know for sure, because that never happens to my programs. :P

EDIT: Sorry I didn't realize I had double posted. Combined the two posts.

Is there any game program source codes I can type into my calculator for TI-83+ TI-BASIC?

Any sites codes or ideas will help, Thank you

Uh, there are a lot of game codes you can type in....
EVERY basic program ever made, in fact.

What type of game/program do you want? I assume something small, unless you can type a 5000 byte program in and not make mistakes. If you want I can give you some of my codes, as long as you don't modify, claim as your own, etc.

Yes. The speed of the program is proportional to the amount of free memory, and the End counter eats memory. When it finally fills the memory, the TI-OS cuts the program off and throws the error.

But i have added a few Improvements(sorta)

:Input "Low number:",A
:Input "High number:",B

:randInt(A,B->Y
:DelVar XDelVar Q
:Repeat X=6 or Q=Z (I still have no idea what Z is for, if someone could tell me that would be nice)
:Input "GUESS:",Q
:If Q>Y: Disp "LOWER"
:If Q<Y: Disp "HIGHER"
:X+1->X ( I got no idea what this does either)
:End
:If Q=Y: Disp "WIN"
:If Q (the = with / going through it (Doesn't equal)) Y:Disp "Lose"
:Disp "NUMBER WAS"
:Disp Y

Try to remember that you're posting in a topic that was created over four years ago. The person you're responding to probably hasn't visited this forum in years.
