I've recently acquired a TI-92 (thanks Ebay!) with romset 1.11 and am having a problem entering items in phasor mode. (Complex numbers) I input something like (2<40)+(5<30) <ENTER> and it returns missing 0 and puts the cursor right after the 2. If I put a ) there, it gives a syntax error. Oh, and I'm using @nd F to get the proper phase symbol, I'm not really using the Less than sign, but Windows doesn't have pahse angle symbols. :)

Also, I've tried adding a comma and the degree symbol... neither seem to help. I'm really stumped and am hoping someone has a clue because I surely don't!

Thanks,
Robb

[2,∠40]+[5,∠30]

Or if you can't see those escape sequences:
[2,<40]+[5,<30]

Awesome! Now one more N00b question if you don't mind.... It's responding with [4.746 5.1158] instead of in degree format... any idea how to get it to look like I input it?

Change the settings in the mode menu and it should work.

Or in other words, change it from Radian to Degree mode. (Or from whatever mode it's currently in to Degree mode.)

There are only two modes. Also, you might want to look at the vector format setting.
