i am going to make the best algebra prog for the calc ever, for algebra 1 and 2 at first, tell me what equations u think my prog should solve, i will solve all i can,
i already am going to use:
Quadratic equations
Standard form
Point-slope
Slope-point
Inequalities Graphing

Thats all i can really remember, what other formulas should it solve/graph? (btw it would help if u named the formula and showed it EX: Standard form (Ax+By=C))

Thanks! Laughing

Hmm... It's been a while since either, and I'm trying to remember what was covered. Something to do with synthetic division would be nice.

Isn't [MATH]+[0] (solver) enough?

[MATH]+[0] (solver) is good, but it could be better... Razz

Another nice thing would be a program that can rearrange equations, like x=yz to y=x/z !

I've never used that solver actually. Never really had the need to. Laughing

Inverse of equations, solution checker, factoring, discriminant (within quadratic), solution of i^Xth power, etc.
(A little of what MY program holds Razz )

Here's a nice program that does a whole bunch of algebra stuff:

Yeah that's me that wrote the review. You guys are welcome to write your own versions, but I think that version is as good as it gets.

Maybe you should add binomial expansion, or maybe geometric and arithmetic sequence, some other stuff would be nice. Ill think of some more? L8er. when i come across them in math team
