I think the designation should apply only to forum members. UTI members can't just create a whole bunch of fake UTImember accounts and vote, now can they? All this does is prevent some UTI members from voting while doing nothing for security. And, according to JBirk, there won't be anymore United-TI site members untill after the site's finnished, so I don't see how there would be more admin accounts. The only people that have access to make more, to my knowleage, are JBirk and AlienCC.

Here is what I did.
I made two new permission masks based on identical permissions from UTI and regular Members, so I could set different permissions.
I made .UTI Members and .Members have identical settings as their parent in everyway. I actually cloned the two. However, they have a different group ID #.
I did a query and placed people who registered before a certain time into their like group.
Next, I made some forums that were visible only to the .UTI Members, and .Members
Except for the voting rights, noting else changed.
We are going to have a tie breaker then a final vote, so we are not done yet. |
