Well, I made up some spites for water that I really like, so I only need grass now.

Wait: I haven't made any of the buildings yet, if someone can do those, basically make them so that they are building blocks to make different types of buildings, like 2 different doors, some windows, walls, and roof.

Just to let you know I had been working on the sprites around half an hour a day since I posted and failing misrably. For the best that you finished because I doubt mine would ever have worked out... I'll do grass now.

Ok, I'm sorry to waste your time on making those water sprites, I wasn't sure if anyone was making them and I did it myself. I won't work on grass sprites (besides they are really hard to make). I'll probably do sprites for inside of buildings.

BTW: If anyone was wondering if I was still working on the community project, I am. My life is swamped and I don't have to much time, but I will post an update soon.

Hmm... I'm having alot of trouble making 5x5 (text sprite) icicles. I'd appreciate anything along these lines.

EDIT: After another hour or so of fooling around I finally have it, never mind.

I'm not sure if this is where this post goes, but oh well.
I'm looking for sprites for Robocode, or at least pointer on how to make them. They will have to be 3-layered (robot, gun, radar) and they should be between 8x8 and MAX=16x16. (Whatever looks best) I plan to have a scrolling screen, so detail is more important than size.

The title screen may be the second one, if it's not copyrighted or nobody cares.

100 posts, I'm taking the rest of the day off. Good Idea

Hmmm... Could it be Linerider?

In binary, and probably the same as yours, if not worse,
00000000
00000000
00000000
00000110
00000001
00000001
11111110
00000000

And @forthreich:
It should be a top-view, right?

How about
00000000
00000000
00000000
00000000
00000010
00000001
11111110
00000000
or
00000000
00000000
00000000
00000110
00000001
00000001
11111110
00000000

Top view. Slight Depth perception if if works well, otherwise Top-Down

IMHO, an engine would be better because:

  1. You would get better at ASM creating the engine
  2. You would have the engine for future use
  3. It allows for more flexibility to have more bots

Well if you make it so you can only rotate it 90 degrees then go with rotation because that would be the easyest thing to do. I know someone knows how to do this just look at any basic tetris game.

I have a list of 8*8 sprites I need for my upcoming rpg. What i need is:

A tree
A person(player)
Another person(an npc)
A shield
Swords crossed
Something to mean hospital
Something to represent a village
Something to represent a dungeon

A medieval theme for the people ones would be appreciated because that is when the game is set. Also I would have made the people myself but i didn't want to use stick figures.

00100010
00010001
00001001
00000110
00000000
