This forum can start an argument about anything, so I figure what the heck let's see if this poll can be contorted into another ethical debate.

P.S. - All you Feta fans are fantastically freaky.

Use reverence to the allmighty poll question in your reply.

Holland style for teh win!

Kind of stupid we never bothered to get the rights to produce gouda so now everybody can produce their own cheese and just call it gouda.

The decision is tough... I don't know of any good Russian cheeses.

Wasn't the point of this topic to start a huge ethical argument?

Sir Robin suggests that it is unethical to include only two cheeses. There are many cheeses out there - why only poll about two of them. However, were I to include more cheeses then it would be even worse that the inclusion of other cheeses was overlooked.

Cheese. Mmmm..... NINJA REVERENCE!!!

Of course! You're freeing it from the burden of feelings!

Besides, all 'good' cheeses are already dead... Live things don't have mold growing on them.

If they're already dead, why bother thinking about the feelings they might have had if they where alife and include them on the test because otherwise they'd feel left out?

I have a dream...
I dream that one day a cheese will be judged based on the value of its character, and not by the color of its mold.
Cheese is just as lucid as any other inatimate object, and deserves to be treated as such.

I knew this ninja would come in handy somewhere! Reverence, baby!

What do you think about selling unpasteurized cheese?

I think its fine as long as its properly labelled. if consumers are worried, they don't have to buy it. I would want to eat it some if given the chance.

Also, what do you think about genetically modified foods?

I'm not really worried about GM food. I do't think it should have to be labelled GM. I'm more concerned about the antibiotics in milk.

this is a discussion about cheese so keep it there. i can honestly say that i have no idea what the difference between something that is pasturized and something that is not though im sure that i will get a lengthy explanation from someone with nothing better to do.
