What kind of 16*16 monster sprites do you want?
What kind of 16*16 evil people do you want?
btw, there's already an ice-/fireball spell effect a couple of posts up. |

Well, I would like some evil people sprites of several different evil wizards, and one really different evil wizard who is their evil leader type thing. If I don't really get what I want there I will make them myself. I can't explain what I want better because it will give away a big part of the story that I would prefer peple learned from playing the game. I would also like some simple monster sprites of stuff like trees, fish, skunks, rats, foxes, weasels, bears or any rodent type thing you would find in a forest. |

Those look good. Could you make one more wizard, but it's smaller and almost like a "apprentice wizard". |

Can't really think of any decent designs where you would actually be able to see the difference between a squirrel, a skunk and a weasel or the difference between a fox, a wolf, and a wild dog.

Arcane Wiz. I'm using one of your wizard sprites as a Shaman in a coming prog I'm making: Z-Warriors! They're like Digital Pets, but they kill and they are for TI-83 and 83+. Yeah! Do you have anything else that would look good as digital pet killers? |

I can't really think of anything to draw and I don't know what kind of creatures your looking for, so if you want to give me a short list of what you need I'll try to draw some. I'll post what works out, if it looks crappy or I can't think of a good way to draw sprite x, I just throw it away.
BTW, if you can describe in detail how you want sprite x to look like, please do, that would make it 10,000 times easyer.

Zergling: It is a beast, has a rather large head, that has an incline on the top kind like "\" but less steap, it is one that is used to kill people, looks kinda' like a dog\rino beast thingy,
A space dude, with a rifle, don't care about the rest
a space dude, with flame thrower
a space dude with shotgun
A space dude\medic
space tank (there is a theme here)
All would be cool with animations, like flames, bullets, but they need to 8x8 units, and the animations have to fit in side that 8x8 square +2 or so |

ok, i know you have already posted several sprites, but here is a contest:
come up with sprites for your standard rpg game (8*8, dogs, cats, boys, girls, dwarfs, elves, hobbits, whatever)
i need 54 if you guys are up to the challenge
i would prefer that if you have alreay posted some sprites earlyer, you repost them all together, but if not, thats ok. |

Exactly how do you use sprites in Basic? Do you store them in a string them extract them onto the screen? |

Well, you could hard-code them into your game (line, pton, pxlon, etc.) or store them to a string/list/matrix and use that data to draw the sprite on the screen, but that is very slow. |

Yeah, I've been doing that, so I guess I'll just stick with it. |
