A good chunk of the work is completed on the brand new theme, but there's still a lot that has to be done. Please bear with me over the next couple of weeks as we pass into the new year. Smile

That, and our downloads section, are two things that we had to part with during the upgrade. I'm not too keen on all the details, but overall I think this will be worth our while – stay tuned.

I'm curious how the new download section will look.

Edit: On a side note, what's this "add friend" option when you select a user's name?

There are a lot of new features, and that one will put a member's name in your profile, essentially connecting you with theirs. Other ones are the profile comments system, rich text editor, and auto-completion as you enter the Recipient's Name when writing a PM. Try clicking "My Friends" in the second row of links below the banner. (The third tab on that page tells me that I've already been added to someone's list.)

We were forced to scrap what we had, but that doesn't mean that we can't find something else to replace it. We will get one.

Speaking of IRC. ( I do feel really stupid asking this) I know I'm probbably just missing the link, but how do i get to IRC anymore? Their used to be a link in the corner, but its gone. I can still get to it through tifreakware, but the link through here was easier..so, is it coming back?

I can see it in the AmberGlass theme. It's kind of hidden though, and overlaps the "My Friends" link on my screen.

The link doesn't work now because the IRC was an option on the homepage... which is no longer the portal. They could probably add the IRC functionality back in... *hint* *hint*
