Hello everyone. I just bought the CAS for my college classes, but I've run into the problem of not being able to use it on tests. I was wondering if there was a way to clear the calculators memory similar to the ti 84. My teachers are going to be looking for a message that pops up saying 'Memory cleared.' or something along those lines. If this task is not available is there a program I can use that displays a message on the screen? I'm not using the calculator to cheat in any way. I just don't want to feel like I've wasted $180 on an amazing product.
There is a mode called "Press-to-test" on the Nspires. I only went into it by mistake once, but I think it is by turning off the calc then turning it on with the ESC key pressed.
To get out of this mode, you have to send an empty document called "Exit Test Mode.tns" to your calc.

What I know about this is that it prevents you from using all your documents (so it can be near to a Memory Clear) until you get back home. But I don't know if you can set it to block the CAS too.
