I recently found out about this forum.
But I'm wondering if ticalc.org is active or is it purely archived nowadays?

Where do people upload their calc program projects nowadays? The last time I did anything was 25 years ago!

Very occasionally the ticalc.org staff will process the queue of pending files, but it's not frequent, and there hasn't been a new news article or poll on ticalc.org in a long time. Most of the staff is no longer active. You're more than welcome to upload your projects here on Cemetech!

I have seen quite a bit of archive activity here on Cemetech in the last couple months, though admittedly most of the programs are for the TI-84+CE and basically every other model except perhaps the rest of the 80 series and the Casio Prizm is barely talked about.

ticalc.org has still no doubt been a great source of programs in my experience. It’s a ghost town, but there’s still treasure waiting to be discovered.

My brother and I have been bitten by retro computing recently. I grew up in the 80s and have found memories of 8 bit Commodores and in the 90s, the TI85. My son is eager for me to show him around. I'm glad I found this community. 🙂

It's great to have you here! If you (or your son or brother) make any programs for any of those retro system (or anything else), feel free to post about them! We definitely welcome projects for any system 🙂 Some of us even had Commodores back in the day!

Ticalc.org is definitely dead, but its the only place to get ti 89 titanium programs, so I've had to use it alot over the years.
