Is it possible to write a custom operator?

As for more information, I use "//" to indicate resistors in parallel a lot in electronics and it would be quicker and nice to have the calculator realize "//" as a parallel indication and substitute in the correct form of calculation and churn out the calculation when I hit Enter.

Ah. I shall have to start reading TI-ASM again, and see what I can come up with. Thanks for the help.
You'd have to write yourself a Parser and/or Token hook to be able to do that. For ASM, we recommend TI-83 Plus ASM in 28 Days, and we have a nice topic with more details on getting started with ASM.
Thanks for the more specific input Kerm.
