This is a rather interesting article, explaining how they've managed to finally take direct pictures of DNA strands. Definitely worth a read!

Saw this in Google Reader (and my Facebook feed and Goohle Plus and just about everywhere else) the other day. It's amazing what were able to do considering that Watson and Crick were guessing the shape in a very indirect way just a few decades back.
haven't seen this elsewhere personally but that's pretty sweet
