I DESPERATLY NEED A WEB DESIGNER I want a website to show off my calc work and transfer files to school as they in the stuppidity thought disabling ftp would stop us downloading bad programs haha it is just as easy (i don't but i download good school files through the internet) so they disabled ftp so i need a frontpage for it and instructions on how to add hyperlinks to files on the site instead of on my computer
please pm me with replies as well as posting

That will generate a hyperlink. http://www.w3schools.com is a very good place to learn how to make a web page. Look at the HTML tutorials

thats easy, just type HTTP:// instead of FTP:// lol

you don't need HTML or similar to do transfers through HTTP, you can even just put em all in an empty folder on your web server, and then go to it. The browser will display all the files in the folder and they will all be clickable

that won't help because

A) he says FTP is blocked
and
B) he wants to share w/ friends, not upload (or so it sounded)

IE FTP blocks are usually just browser limitations. And since he doesn't want illegal downloads, just legit uploads, I thought this might help.
