Can I make my Prizm solve eqvations that have imaginary roots?
like x^2 = -1?

Don't really need it but it would be good to know so I can check my anwsers on the exams. Smile
You can! When you are in the Equation Add-In, open up the Setup Menu (I think it's [Shift][Exit]) and scroll down to the part that says "Real" and change it to "a+bi". You should try to find the other thread in this forum for a Prizm tutorial (I believe it still has "Free Prizm?" in the title, although that offer ended) and watch the videos. They are dull and boring, but you learn a lot about your calculator (You can probably stop after the second video, unless you are doing Finance stuff or Geometry).
Thanks mate <3
I will take a look at the tutorial Smile
Great! Smile Be sure to tell us how it goes (Either in this thread, or the one I was describing)
I will do that.
Anyways I got stuck on a math problem (not the tutorial but from my book).
Determine the real roots x and y if 2y + x + (3 + y)i = 26 + (x + 1)i
I know that:
2y + x = 26
3 + y = x + 1

But now it stands still in my head Sad

Nevermin, I am stupid =/

x = 26 - 2y
3 + y = 26 - 2y + 1
y = 8
16 + x = 26
x = 10

x = 10, y = 8
