Like appvar, group file will be a series of data, right?
If so, how is it ordered?

You can find a lot of detail about group file structure in the File and Link Protocol Guide. A group file is basically a file header follows by one or more complete files including headers and contents. Read through this for some more information; it was invaluable for getting SourceCoder working:

Here's a hosted version, in case you want to use that:

Oh yes, thanks for that. Smile I had forgotten you had the guide rehosted.
This might be helpful, except for that I can't find any detailed information about group files. But it does have everything else, though. XD
I should bookmark this page.
http://merthsoft.com/linkguide/ti83+/fformat.html has the file format. As far as I'm aware, a group just has multiple variable entries.
Didn't the format change somewhere around 2004, though? I know for example that when ungrouping some older group files on the calculator directly, the first file included in the group will be corrupted, giving an ERR:UNDEFINED on launch and a RAM clear on deletion.
