Is there any software for writing assembly programs on Mac? A knockoff TASM?
SPASM has native Mac support, and Brass will work under Mono. If you're feeling masochistic, TASM should work under DOSBOX.
Running the Doors CS SDK under Mono should be perfect, since it uses Brass (which works wonderfully under Mono on Linux and MacOS).
DOSBOX will never enter this mac’s memory. EVER. So Brass or spasm?

Doors CS SDK, which already has Brass, a linker, and build scripts? All you need is Mono and Python.

spasm works MUCH better on a Mac, and has much less overhead ("faster") than Brass. I have modified DCS headers with spasm-style macros. They might need to be updated a bit for DCS 7, since I haven't done much serious development in a while, but I'd be happy to share them with you if you want to take that route.
I’m not quite ready for the whole thing, gimme a week. I will get back to you though. Smile
