American football is second only to rugby as the manliest sport. Also, America dominates football (obviously), baseball, and basketball. We even put up a good fight against Canada in hockey (US typically wins the Stanly Cup, for instance)

True, 6 Canadian NHL teams vs 24 USA teams makes it easy for USA to win the cup... although soon it will probably be more like 8 vs 18 after the Coyotes, Thrashers, Islanders, Blue Jackets, Panthers and Lightning will have folded or moved to Quebec and Winnipeg city so it most likely won't be as hard.

In Southern USA, the moment a hockey team misses the playoffs about 5000 people show up at games (even thought the NHL announces 15000), while in Quebec city, it took 5 years of finishing last overall for the team attendance to start dropping slightly.

IMHO:

Hockey > Rugby > Soccer > Basketball > Football > Baseball

But that's just me. Related to the actual subject though, I'm disappointed that the game wasn't 3-2 or something. Much prefer those than the 1-0'ers. I'm just glad the 1 goal that was scored wasn't off of a PK or something.

I presume when you say hockey you mean ice hockey rather than the traditional sport?

About the only sport I've ever enjoyed is cross-country running. I've never really seen the attraction of watching someone else play sport.

Cross-Country Running is fun, but I'm not much of a runner, I'm more of an Explosion of Brute-Strength kinda guy.
