...no, not to a new server, to a new system. I tested out integration of regular HTML pages into the CSS/PHP/MySQL template system I have modded from phpBB (all credit given, of course) in gcn.cemetech.net. Now, I am ready to unfurl this over the entire site. I aim to complete this in a single day, starting now at 10:20 EST, and ending by 7:00 PM EST. You may experience minor outages, but I plan to keep the majority of the site active as the rollover is made. I have modified my 404 page so that if you attempt to go to an old HTML page, it will automatically redirect you to the correct PHP. I will take this out as soon as all internal links are repaired. Please post feedback, comments, and bug reports on the forum.
Edit: You can now see the new format on the Poll and Links pages.

Great! I can't wait to see how this turns out!! Smile
Bold folders complete:
1. Main (http://www.cemetech.net/)
2. About (http://www.cemetech.net/about/)
3. Doors CS (http://www.cemetech.net/doorscs/)
4. Programs (http://www.cemetech.net/programs/)
5. Projects (http://www.cemetech.net/projects/)
6. Admin (http://www.cemetech.net/admin/)
Does this mean the loading time will be shorter?
But of course!
Sweet. Smile Hurry and get it completed! Razz
Worrieth not. Halfway done with programs...
I assume that's why we have a new scheme to the forum...

As for the internal links, why don't you set them dynamically so that way you won't have to change them everytime you change servers?
That's what I'm doing, I'm making it dynamic.

Programs done, projects and admin left to go.
Can't access the news about the Cemetech City stats...
Ah, thank you, that's something I will need to fix - the sidebar. Someone post a bug thread in the website subforum...
Completed. Posted as 'Sticky'

Edit:

Ok, organized the projects section alphabetically, moved the TI-BASIC topic below the Z80 ASM topic, and moved some of the topics that had to do with the Blockland project to the appropriate Topic.
uh...the main page isn't working...

i get a 404 error, index.shtml not found...
Yeah, I need to fix the forwarding in my htaccess and cemetech.net account.

Surprised Wow, that was fast, I fixed it literally one minute ago. Smile
