Well, I put Win 7 on my dad's fiance's computer, and when I installed it and everything, it activated and was happy.

Now.. It says there is 19 days left. My other two computers don't say anything is wrong.

Can Windows deactivate its certificate thing? *doesn't remember what it was called* otherwise.. what else do I do with it?
You used a different key than you had used on any existing computer, correct? And it was the RTM version, not the beta or RC1? \
I used the same disc/key on both my laptop and desktop, neither of them have this issue. I also don't have any other keys to use. =/

Well, the obvious answer would be to buy a licence key...
Basically what BenRyves said. Razz I'd be interested from an academic standpoint, though, if this means that Activation actually phones home to check for a duplicate key, though.

It does when it checks for updates afaik.

@tifreak8x: Just try activating it and see what happens. You'll likely have to actually buy a legit copy, since you aren't allowed to use the same CD key multiple times.
