Actually, since we're getting rid of a lot of shit anyway, we should dump the existing terrain folder structure, and create an organized set of standard textures used by all stock terrains, that we can also have applied to bricks so players can make builds that blend in with terrain...

Do the same thing with skies, drop what we have and create an organized set of stock skies that cover a fair range of environments.

That's not a bad idea, though terrains would be my least favorite place to do this since fixing them won't just be a simple find and replace.

You can't patch a terrain that hasn't even loaded...
Then how do i load it? I have put the .ter in the terrain folder.

You need to declare a terrain block in the mission file.
I used Flatmap from TBM (this was before they came and said to remove it, and I would never release this)
well, the mission file needs to be edited so that it's terrain block points to the right place.
