This is quite biased and not well-found on engineering/scientific fact, but I still found it fairly amusing. Even more amusing are the mix of vehemently opinionated comments.

That article is a liar. Italy has by far the most messed up system ever. They can't make up their minds to use the Italian 3 prong, the older 3 prong, the europlug, or Schuko. Plus their plugs are usually engineered to not work half the time.
