I use a DI-624 wireless router to get internets to my various things, and it keeps dropping everyone at once and restarting. Heres the log after crashing a few minutes ago:

The date and time keeps reverting after every crash to it's default. I got this router to replace an older, almost identical, D-link router that was doing the same thing. The only connections that appear to have been logged are my three PCs, and my vonage, so I don't think it's an outside attack. Any ideas what's causing this and/or how to fix it?

EDIT- oh and my linksys Cable Modem is logged. My PCs are Hal9000 (desktop), Sal9000 (laptop) and dog27 (old POS laptop I setup as a bridge between my wireless network and my wired Xbox 360).
That's typical RIAA/MPAA "shutdown" procedure. Stop pirating and it will stop.

WTF? That sounds like total crap to me. Sounds pretty fraudulent on the part of the ISP, though, if it's true.

lol, I see what you did there. DShiz, I tend to think it's a malicious external attack based on those UDP denies you're seeing from your firewall.
I haven't been pirating for weeks now, so that that can't be the reason. How external is this attack, is it someone connecting to my router wirelessly or is it coming from the internets?

No, they're not. They have better things to do than harass their own citizens, like fight terrorism. Actually I think I've discovered the problem. Ever since the computer my Xbox was connected to stopped working, the crashing stopped. Now I just need to find another way to connect to xbox live so my brother will stop bitching.

Unless it was the Xbox Live servers causing my problems in the first place...

I was refering to domestic terrorism, like the terrorists in our own country who carried out 9/11. Half of them were never caught you know. Some were late, and when all commercial air traffic was grounded they went home like everyone else. They aren't going to. The FBI and MPAA don't monitor your internet usage and track what you download. They can't legally do so, because the U.S. Constitution protects the privacy of U.S. Citizens, which is why the police need warrants for everything, and usually need evidence to get those warrants. They do try to take down pirate websites, however most of them are based in foreign nations outside the Federal Government's jurisdiction.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Not only can they, they DO. Have you been living under a rock? Have you not seen report after report of the RIAA and MPAA suing the crap out of suspected pirates? They even sued an old man that didn't even have a computer!

The FBI also has ever legal right to monitor you (even wiretap your phones), thanks to that ever so awesome patriot act. But the RIAA and MPAA don't even need to do that to bust you. All they have to do is pretend to be a peer on the torrent and everyone starts sending them their IPs. Then they subpoena the owner of the IP and sue them to hell and back. It isn't a privacy issue if your computer gives them its IP (which it does).

Of course, your privacy is very limited in the eyes of the law. Your car, for example, can be legally searched if suspected contraband is visible. The police really only need a warrant to search your house, that is about it.

I suggest you read up on 4th amendment case law sometime, or shut up, because you have no idea what you're talking about. This is cute--did you just go over the Constitution in your middle school civics class?
I don't see how that amendment can be misinterpreted that badly, but maybe that's just me and the college+ reading level I've been at since 5th grade.

Anyway Kerm is right, this topic isn't about human rights or internet piracy(which I haven't done in a while anyway), it's about my router crashing, which seems to only happen when my brother is connected to xbox live, and is thus unrelated to your government internet control conspiracy theories. Does Xbox live do something that the rest of my computers/internet crap does not? Is it possible that the laptop I'm using to connect my xbox is responsible?
