How would i change what my php settings are on freehostia.com?

most hosts do not usually do not allow you to edit php.ini.

After some extensive searching(not really) i have figured out how to do it. I had to create my own php.ini with the settings i wanted changed.

Most hosts will reject custom php.ini's, particularly if you try to unset safe mode, increase maximum execution time, and the like.
