Hey guys, I want to be able to attach a PS/2 port to my Ti-83, but I have a few questions: Where do I get a PS/2 port? Where do I soldering the wires to the board? And is there a special type of wire I need? I code, I'm no electrician so bare with me here.

Thanks

Well, you need to start with getting a female PS/2 socket. A place like Mouser would have one, or you can get a PS/2 extension cord and rip one from there. You'll also need a fine-tipped soldering iron and rosen core solder. Depending on whether you want to build it inside the calculator (more challenging) or in a separate box (bulkier but easier) you'll also need additional parts.
Thanks for the spell check lol. Sorry, but I don't understand what you mean by E=8.

I have managed to get my hands on a female PS/2 port and I have access to all of the soldering tools I need. Here are the final two questions then I should be able to complete this.

Will any plastic covered copper wire work for this project?
Where do I solder the wire to?

Thanks for the help
E=8 is Errors = 8 btw.
