Does anyone know of a site with tutorials on how to make GIF animations? Or will someone take the time to explain it?
I would recommend using either Adobe ImageReady with Photoshop or the GIMP,
Well there's a start. I have GIMP just have to figure out how to use it. Cool
Make each frame of the animation a new layer, then when you save, choose GIF, then Save As Animation.
Or if you specifically wanted to make animated screens of your programs, most emulators (like PTI) have this feature.

Oh, you think that's what it is? I thought he just wanted to make animated GIFs in general.

well i actually wanted to do both I am actually going to start drawing the frames right now. Evil or Very Mad hope this goes well...

Well, how did it work out? Once you get the hang of GIMP, it can be quite the powerful editor.
