First came
http://cemetech.homestead.com, version 1. Then came the black-background, light text Geocities site with the message board. Next up was the Geocities site, remade lighter with the message board, then later with the InvisionFree forum, and finally with this forum, hosted at Designerz-Core. Version 4 is the current incarnation, but version 5.0, the next in the line of the brightest and best, will hopefully outshine everything so far. Samples under development:

Wow, kind of cocky with just 10 days left to DCS6. Are you really ready for a new project right now?

Pardon me??
Actually, DCS got put on the back burner what with finals and such, so I'm fairly sure I won't be able to make the deadline. Not to mention I really am not in the mood to work on Doors CS for some reason; it'll get done eventually. All I really need to do as far as features go is to finish debugging the sort routine so I can switch to bug fixing mode while the documentation gets completed (hopefully I can wrangle up some help with that)./

Oh, whoops, sorry, I didn't mean to make that sound so harsh. I swear I meant it with a purely joking tone.
woah, do all the avatars have a reflection now too?
the template looks quite nice, I hope you remember dial up users while you make it though.....
no green, Kerm, you disappoint me.
/me wonders how XHTML Strict compliant this will be.
/me suggest Kerm mirrors all [img] tags as well

Seconded
The new design is uncharacteristically good-looking Kerm. Did you have an art-friend advise you?

Nope, that's all me. I was just feeling creative.

If I were Kerm I would take that as an insult
The correct term is "backhanded complement." Since I'm an optimist, I'll ignore the insult part of it.
Haha, well us left-brained people often have difficulties with arty stuff...myself included. (Just take a look at my blog to see what I mean.)

I'd rather not have to subject my eyes to that torture again

/me looks at the GIMP thread and tells Jpez to hush up.

/me looks at the GIMP thread and tells Jpez to hush up. /me glances at the GIMP/Photoshop thread as well and concurs about shushing the pez-man.
Those look really cool.
