Vysion CE custom wallpaper

I converted a few images to appvar (.8xv) with convimg so I could select them as wallpapers on vysion CE and it does register the transferred files in its "Appvars" menu, but they don't appear in the settings>desktop>wallpaper tab. Where do I go from here?
