Can you send programs between Casio fx 9860Giii and Casio fx CG50, if there are no color commands in them? As I understand it, the 9860Giii is a CG50 without color.

Unforuntately, no. The fx 9860Giii runs a different version of the Casio operating system, and uses .g1a programs, whereas the fx-CG50 uses .g3a programs.
Ok Thanks! I had thoughts about buying a fx 9860Giii, as a complement to my fx-CG50, but when you would have to rewrite every program from scratch...

All good. If you are interested, Lephenixnoir's gint kernel supports building for fx-9860 and fx-CG50, but you would have to rewrite your programs in gint.
They also both use Casio Basic (though I gather this is slightly different).
