SPASM Bad Signature

When I use SPASM assembler to compile my asm programs into an application, I get a "Bad signature" error in TI connect when I try to transfer the application to my TI 84 plus SE. It works fine in wabbitemu, but just not when I transfer it to my calculator. Does anyone know a way to fix this?
As it turns out, selling TI-Basic games I wrote to other 8th graders in my class becomes an ineffective business model when they discover they can download games from the internet.
What is your spasm command line? And are you using app.inc?
