So yea, i have a windows PC and a (hopefully working) OS X .iso file. How would i go about being able to dual boot windows and mac os on my PC? And in the future how would i be able to remove mac os? Dont really have any experiences with OSs and stuff so help will be appreciated Smile
You are going to want to flash it to a usb using some sort of program, rufus (google it) works well. If you are on linux I think most distros have a usb burner built in. Then you want to create a new partition, then boot from your usb and follow the mac instructions for install. You are going to have to make sure that it only installs to your partition that you made. Then I guess you need some sort of boot manager? I use refind for switching between linux and mac, and there is grub... I'm not sure about that.

I've tried dual booting macOS, not sure how accurate this is.

This Rufus?
Looks up Hackintosh. OS X, now macOS, is specifically programmed to run on a unique set of hardware. Do you have an Intel CPU?

Perhaps, more importantly is what version of macOS are you trying to dual boot?

Indeed i have an intel CPU and want to dual boot Yosemite.
The reason i want to duel boot is becouse if i can, i would rather run it natively instead of in an emulator.

This may be a good start. It sounds like you'll be good to go.

macOS has been 64-bit only for many years. Yosemite is only offered in 64-bit. Make sure your CPU is 64bit as well.

I don't know how important that is, but I hold true to the same regard. I don't install one OS on the same drive as another. I used to and had no issue but that practice is behind me.

Other than that, I'm not sure what else to make of those instructions. If you feel like you're good to go give it a shot and report back to us. I'm eager to hear of your results.
