Hey everyone,

What are the (dis)advantages of having LAN cables in your house above Wi-Fi?
WiFi is usually connected to a small thingy that you plug into one USB port of your PC.

LAN is basically the same, except that you need to plug in a cable into your PC and into a special connection.
I'm not sure that you really answered the question. Wink WiFi is wireless LAN (local area network), and Ethernet is wired LAN. WiFi has the advantage of portability, while Ethernet offers the advantage of speed and reliability. If you're planning on gaming, especially in FPS-type games, or want to transfer large files, you're much better off with wired Ethernet.
