Does anyone know of any tools for manipulating TI's picture variables, or at least converting them to standard formats (e.g. bmp, png, ....) that support more than just the "normal" 83+/84+ size images? In particular, I'd like to be able to convert picture variables from my shiny new Voyage 200 without using TI-Connect, but I couldn't immediately find or remember a program that did this.
Most of the tools I found that do this sort of thing seem to mostly support the standard 83+/84+ screen and image format, which makes sense since few people have 68k calcs any more and probably even fewer the Voyage 200, but it makes me sad.
I poked around briefly on ticalc.org's /unix archive and didn't find anything obvious (well, that's not quite true. There was a GIMP plugin from 2003, but sadly it's pretty out-dated: compiled against the original libtifiles library and also against GTK 1 and an ancient version of gimp), so I figured I'd ask here.
(It's not so much that I'd refuse to use TI-Connect as much as that I'd like a cross-platform solution that would work on Linux too).
If there isn't at least a converter that supports the Voyage 200 screen size, I might work on one, assuming I ever have time to do that.
