I don't really understand the context of this post, but contrary to what your link claims, "./Usenet" is definitely not pronounced beginning with "slash dot"

Basically it was suggested I make this thread, so I did. If anyone has any questions about the project then they can ask here. However there probably won't be a lot of information on what I am doing on it for a bit.

On the naming thing, I'm of the mind that no matter what the creator's word is what matters. If the creator says something is pronounced a certain way then it's pronounced that way...even if it flies in the face of all languages. If someone were to make a program called goofball and say it's pronounced "Flagship", then it's technically correct. Basically Start-Usenet and Slash-Dot Usenet are the recommended pronunciations of ./Usenet (although honestly I don't care that much.). The reason why I suggest Slash-Dot Usenet is because the name was originally /.Usenet, but that just looked odd to me. So I reversed the /. to ./ which when put with Usenet makes it a valid *nix command as well...
