Hello,

First of all, I'm new here, so I do not know if I post it on the right way.

But now to my question, I want to put some Nintendo games like Pokémon, Mario Kart... on my TI 84 CE-T calculator. But I read that wasn't possible because there was no doors CE released yet. But now I see that this was released: https://www.cemetech.net/news.php?id=764

Is there a change to do it on this calculator type? I'm sorry if this is a stupid question but I do not know anything about calculators.

I hope that someone can answer this. Sorry for my bad English.

Thank you.
Even with a shell, you typically can't "put Nintendo games on" a calculator. When you see something that looks like a Nintendo game, someone has either recreated it (or something similar) from scratch, or an emulator, in the case of TI-Boy. To my knowledge, TI-Boy has not been ported (and I'm not sure how it can be, since it relies on huge apps), but there is no barrier to creating assembly programs that remake classic games.
Thank you for your answer, but I saw some games that are rewriten for calculators like this: http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/248/24889.html

Isn't there a way to put it on calculators yet?

Thank you for your answer.
Games specific to the CE can be found here: http://www.ticalc.org/pub/84plusce/

BASIC games like the ones you linked to could probably be rewritten for the CE with a minimum of work, but will probably look pretty funny if you try to run them out of the box.

Thank you for answering! I already installed some of them and they do work. I gues I will need to wait before more advanced games and maybe doors are released.

You beat me to it! TI-BASIC is pretty easy to learn, it teaches programming concepts that you can take to any language, and it's simple to get started with just what your calculator already has on it. We have plenty of resources (and experts) here to help you learn.

I can always take a try, maybe I can create something funny. Laughing

Thanks!
Be sure to ask us if you want help getting started Smile
I will do that!
